Sultanahmet’te esnaflık yapan karakterimiz dost canlısı ve insancıl biridir. Bir gün iş yerinde Japon bir aile ile tanışır ve onların hediye olarak gönderdiği son teknolojiyle üretilmiş robotu evine alır. Dizideki bütün olaylar robotun gelişiyle başlar. Ailemiz klasik bir Türk ailesi olduğu için Robot Babür ev işlerini bile yapmaya başlar. İlerleyen bölümlerde robot ailenin bir ferdi olur ve bu arada evin genç kızına aşık olur
