Les Duval approchent de la cinquantaine, ils sont devenus grands-parents et leur univers s'est transformé. Désormais propriétaire de sa propre agence, Rémi envisage, en vue de la retraite, de passer la main à son fils avec lequel il n'est pourtant pas toujours du même avis. D'autre part, Francine a fait carrière et est beaucoup moins disponible à son mari, bien qu'elle lui reste très attachée.
