داستان جوانی به نام احسان که در شهریار زندگی میکند و در سفر به خرمشهر به دختری جنوبی به نام عارفه دل میبندد. با آغاز جنگ و محاصره خرمشهر، احسان برای پیدا کردن عارفه به این شهر میرود، اما در آنجا توسط نیروهای عراقی به اسارت درمیآید و ماجراهایی برای او و اطرافیانش رقم میخورد.
