הסדרה מגוללת את סיפורם של חבורה של קיבוצניקים, בני כיתת "נרקיס" מקיבוץ "מעיין חיים", שאחרי הצבא התפזרו לכל עבר. פירוק הקיבוץ מכריח אותם לחזור להיות בקשר, והם מוצאים את עצמם חוזרים לחיות ביחד כמו בבית הילדים בקיבוץ, אלא שהפעם זה קורה בהאנגר תעשייתי בדרום תל אביב וכשהם בני שלושים.
