There's a devastating hurricane coming straight for us as we prepare for the worst. On the bright side, my grass will be so green from all this water. One time during a crazy storm, my friends and I were playing a board game in my kitchen when lightning struck a tree branch right outside the house. Unfortunately the branch landed on my moms garden and destroyed her flowers. My neighbor came over and used tools to cut it up and bring it home for firewood. All was back to normal until my mom came home and assumed my friends and I stepped all over her garden. This woman smacked me so hard her flowers grew back and I cried. My friends cried with me. When I told her what happened she went outside and smacked the tree so hard, it cut itself up into firewood neatly stacked along the side of the road. The trees don't mess with my moms garden anymore and neither do I.
