店でも評判のポパイベーコンらを堪能する傍、洋食から鍋まで何でもある店のメニューの無軌道さに驚きつつ、五郎もそれに乗って、オニオンロールパンを追加する。なぜがきゅうりが添えてあったが、ときに煮込みにつけたりしておいしく頂いた。
だるまのおかげで良い一日に変わった五郎だった。
