Threads the bear envies Snips the dog who has handsome floppy ears, or RicRac the rabbit who can jump high, or Lacey the lamb with her woolyly coat. He wishes to be special like them even though he has socks on his ears, springs on his feet and a giant overcoat. He needs a friend to remind him that he, too, has something special.
Rabbit decides to cook a pot of soup for his guests. However, the recipe runs amuck as each visitor input their own favorite ingredient as soon as they arrive.
Quilted, lovable Lacey the lamb has entered the fence jumping competition but is convinced that shell lose because of her disability to jump the highest fence of all. Her friend Peter helps her practice and Lacey starts to realize that shell never succeed if she doesn't even try.
