הסדרה בנויה על פרקים בני כ-30 דקות, שרובם פותח בסיטואציה שגרתית ובנאלית, שעד מהרה מתפתחת למערבולת המטלטלת את הגיבור עד הסוף המפתיע. בהגן כתב, הפיק וביים את כל 13 פרקי הסדרה. הסדרה זכתה להצלחה רבה בישראל, ולהערכה על חלוציותה ומקוריותה. גרסה אנגלית הופקה לסדרה, נמכרה ושודרה בגרמניה וברוסיה.
