В одной из развивающихся стран Африки вспыхивает опасная эпидемия. На смену сбежавшей международной врачебной миссии в страну прилетает российская бригада добровольцев. К ней присоединяются местный врач-инфекционист и российский гениальный ученый в области вирусологии, которые работают над производством необходимой вакцины.
