    In prison a gang leader is stabbed and killed. Ron Davis is charged with the murder and is sentenced for execution. After reviewing the case file Maris concludes that the wrong man was convicted for the killing.

    A shop worker is charged for the murder of the supervisor. The reason: the man is an immigrant and bigotry enters the judicial system. Maris is on hand to defend.

    Frank is an ex-convict who is going straight and is now the son-in-law of a policeman. Two of Frank's old friends commit a robbery and Frank is jailed. Maris tries to help but a few surprises come his way.

    A college student is unable to repay loan sharks and gives them the keys to his father's automobile. The loan sharks then hit someone on the highway then run. The father is implicated in the crime. Maris tries to help the father who used to be one of his teachers and discovers the case is about more than a ""hit and run.""

    A young couple is planning to elope but the plans come to a screeching halt when drugs are found in the car they rent. Maris comes in and investigates.

    Jimmy Stockton is a prizefighter who's wife promised to leave him if he lost in the ring again. When his wife is killed the police arrest him for murder. Maris is a reluctant defense attorney but surprises are in store. The coroner also has interesting information vital to the case.

    The chief lawyer for the state anti-crime committee is killed and a former gambler is accused of the murder. Maris defends the gambler.

    A father suspects his teenage son is involved in a robbery and a shooting. The father then hires Maris to defend his son of possible charges.

    A soldier is accused of killing another soldier in a brawl over a woman. Maris is called in to help the accused soldier and clothes play an important role in the defence.

    A neighborhood gang steal the gun of former gang member and now Policeman Crothy and commit a crime and a murder. Crothy, the owner of the gun, is arrested for the killing. Both Lt. Weston and Maris believe in Crothy's innocence and begin the investigation.

    Maris and Lt. Weston go fishing on vacation. At the lodge they stay the owner is accused of murdering his adulterous wife. Rather than fish, Maris and Weston investigate.

    Dan Gray invents an explosive formula similar to dynamite. After a golfer is killed with an exploding golf ball the inventor is arrested for murder. Maris and Lt. Weston investigate. Gloria Larkley is Dan's supporting girlfriend.

    Barney Klein lives on skid row and is accused of stealing money from a local half-way house. Maris defends Barney.

  • S02E04 Flying High

    Jean Davis, a flight attendant, is murdered. When Maris investigates the case he discovers that many people had a reason to kill Ms. Davis. The problem is that all of them have solid alibis.
