Hyo-ri’s surgery date gets moved up, and the residents of Cheonghae offer comfort and support to Hyo-ri and Ji-an in their own ways. Jeong-seok reassures Hyo-ri that he will stay by Ji-an’s side, no matter what happens. Meanwhile, Ji-an tells Jeong-seok who the birthmother of Hyo-ri was and how Hyo-ri was raised.
