Having fun in school, doing together homework, cooking and eating, playing videogames, watching anime. All those little things make up the daily life of the anime- and chocolate-loving Izumi Konata and her friends which is portrayed here. Sometimes relaxing but more than often simply funny!

dandere (ダンデレ): A stock love interest who is quiet and asocial. They are afraid to talk, fearing that what they say will get them in trouble. Their name is a portmanteau of danmari (黙り), meaning silence, and deredere, "lovey dovey" (でれでれ).
Ahoge (アホ毛, アホげ), literally foolish hair, is a visual cue common to Japanese anime and manga. Consisting of a single cute, often long, lock of hair sticking out from the top of the head, it is most often used to identify foolish, bumbling or carefree characters.
Tsundere (ツンデレ, pronounced [tsɯ̥ndeɾe]) is a Japanese term for a character development process that depicts a character with a personality who is initially very harsh before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time. The word is derived from the terms tsun tsun (ツンツン) ('to turn away in disgust or anger') and dere dere (デレデレ) ('to become affectionate').
