While Sheryl is rehearsing for her Sayonara live concert on the final day of her tour, news arrives that the Macross Galaxy fleet is being attacked by a large horde of Vajra. As a result, President Howard Glass decides to inform his citizens of the new enemies' existence.

Mientras Sheryl esta preparando su concierto de despedida en el dia final de su gira llegan nuevas noticias sobre un ataque masivo de Vajra contra la flota del Macross Galaxy. Como resultado el Presidente Howars Glass decide informar a los ciudadanos sobre la existencia de estos nuevos enemigos.
