Five dangerous "seeds" have been stolen from their vault in the world of Evergreen and taken to Earth. Natsuki, an agent of the Queen, has been sent to retrieve them. However, he cannot do this alone and enlists the aid of Chihaya, a middle school student, who is "the only one" who can help him. With his aid she transforms into Magical Warrior Carmine in order to save the humans possessed by the seeds. Questions abound though, such as why Chihaya's mother appears to know all about this secret activity, why Chihaya remembers her father who reportedly died before her birth, and why she dreams of Evergreen, which she has never seen.

ある日、ちはやは更衣室に忍び込んだ傷ついた小動物姿のナツキを見つける。何も知らないちはやは、どこか懐かしい目をした不思議な小動物を家へ連れて帰り手当をしてあげる。
ぐったりとしていたナツキは次第に元気を取り戻したかと思うと、突然家を飛び出した！ちはやがナツキを追いかけていくと、そこには"種人間"と化した醜い人間の姿が…。
恐ろしい怪物に挑みかかろうとするナツキをちはやが止めようとすると、ナツキの首に付いていたヘキサグラムが激しく点滅し、やがてスティックが飛び出した。
ちはやがそのスティックを手にすると、光がちはやを包み魔法戦士カーマインに変身してしまう…。ナツキも魔力を回復し、少年の姿となるが、突然のことに何がなんだかわからないちはや。

Cinco peligrosas "semillas" han sido robadas de su bóveda en el mundo de Evergreen y llevadas a la Tierra. Natsuki, un agente de la Reina, ha sido enviado para recuperarlos. Sin embargo, no puede hacer esto solo y consigue la ayuda de Chihaya, un estudiante de secundaria, que es "el único" que puede ayudarlo. Cinq graines dangereuses ont été volées dans le monde d'Evergreen puis envoyé sur Terre. Natsuki, un agent de la Reine, a été envoyé pour les récupérer. Cependant, il ne peut pas faire face seul et enrôle l'aide de Chihaya, une étudiante, qui est "la seul" qui peut l'aider. Avec l'aide de Natsuki, elle se transforme en "Magical Warrior Carmine" pour sauver les gens possédés par les graines. Les questions abondent, comme pourquoi la mère de Chihaya semble connaître tout de cette activité secrète, pourquoi Chihaya se rappelle de son père qui est censé être mort avant sa naissance et pourquoi elle rêve d'Evergreen, un monde qu'elle n'a jamais vu.
