Season five did not complete the lessons beginning with letters O-Z from Kistler's 1998 book -- instead it featured all-new material from Mark's latest works at the time. This is the 2009 season for which an episode of the show won a regional Emmy in 2010. The dates are not the original air-dates -- they are the dates from when the season was added to Amazon.com in 2017 and labeled on that streaming service as "Season 1". The 2009 episodes were ordered and delivered in two production batches of 13 episodes each -- 500 series and 600 series.
