Not much change in the format, though. For instance, tonight Markham gets wounded by an assailant and the trail of the suspected gunman leads to a doctor and his nurse who is trying to protect her ex-convict husband.

    Markham has another new one tonight, although you'd never know it if we didn't tell you. The plot is so old and the twists and turns so familiar, you’ll insist you've seen it before. It does have the advantage of two pretty girls—Lisa Gaye and Abbagail Shelton — both involved with a nightclub owner who turns up dead. There's one funny scene, where Markham (Ray Milland) sweats out some information from a gambler by turning up the steam in a steam room.

    Ray Milland meets another crisis with some timely action during a plane crash. "Crash in the Desert" is the name of this one. Jeff Morrow is a diabetic who thinks his wife and friend Ray have left him to die without insulin after the disaster occurs. But Ray, having browsed through a medical journal one day, knows what to do.

The question: Is Andy Parker (Bobby Troup) just a piano-player or something mere sinister?

    Last episode of the series. It's a "Matter of Identity" as Markham goes to France to help an artist determine whether the young girl who has come to be his model is his daughter who disappeared 19 years earlier.
