Wiley Brooks is a Breatharian. That means he's capable of living without eating or drinking, subsisting only on the air around him. Too bad he has a thing for McDonald's Double Quarter Pounders with Cheese. I've encountered a lot of strangeness on that twisty, turny, Web Drifting road, but Wiley Brooks might take the cake. Actually, he wouldn't take the cake, because he doesn't need to eat. Wiley is a Breatharian, and runs the website Breatharian.com. Breatharians are enlightened souls who do not need food. They get all the nourishment from the air they breathe. And if that weren't amazing enough, Wiley, who must weigh about 140 soaking wet, can lift 900 pounds. Sounds nuts, but he did it in front of millions of Americans in 1981 when he appeared on the television program "That's Incredible!" Best part is Wiley is willing to teach you how to become a Breatharian, as well as how to ascend to the Eden that is the 5th Dimension. All that's required to sign up for the training is a voracious appetite for 5th Dimsension food (exclusively McDonald's Double Quarter Pounders with Cheese and Diet Coke-yeah, not sure how that jives with the whole not eating thing) and the tuition fee, which currently stands at $20 million. But given how cool life in the 5th Dimension sounds, that's a great value. Why would anyone pay the exact amount to the Russian space program go to into orbit in a Soyez Rocket? No Web Drifter in their right mind would.
