Micky, Minnie und Pluto haben während eines Gewitters eine Autopanne in einem dunklen Wald. Da erleuchtet ein Blitz ein altes Schloss in der Nähe, und die drei beschließen, dort um Hilfe zu bitten. Als sie das Schloss betreten, treffen sie auf Graf Mikula, der genauso wie Micky aussieht, aber ein bunten Umhang trägt, Vampirzähne hat und fliegen kann. Er hat ebenfalls ein Problem: Sein Schloß macht merkwürdige Geräusche, und er weiß nicht, woher sie kommen. Also begeben sie sich auf die abenteuerliche Suche nach der Ursache der Geräusche und lernen Mikulas gruselige Freunde kennen.
