We get to know the crew members on the spaceship Tasman, with board computer Sara as extra personality. 4 months on their journey, Bram (captain) gets orders from earth to select the "employee of the month".
Axel is upset, because someone has stolen his piece of Brie (French cheese) and demands an investigation to find the thief.
Brechtje is annoyed about the male pig behavior of the men. Bram announces an annual training day: Personal Growth.
Kurt has discovered that it's possible to have elections for a new captain. Axel helps Bram with his campaign.
The mission is a half year on its way. To celebrate, everyone performs in the talent/no talent show. Alcohol lifts up the mood, with some side effects.
It's been five years since the Big Flood. Kurt misbehaves horribly in a conversation with the minister of space affairs, so the crew has to decide what to do with him.
While Harold determines whether the new planet is inhabitable, Axel prepares the press conference and gets too confident. Kurt is still unemployed and decides to write a book.
Kurt wonders if there's more between heaven and earth. The Tasman finds an unidentified object and SARA discovers there's life on board. Bram gets a warning from the minister.
Bram does not intent to give Kurt his job back and asks the other crew members to apply for the position. Thijs suspects that Reibek is a robot.
When the Tasman discovers a wormhole the crew gets a refresher course on what this is. In the meanwhile the crew worries about Svetlana's influence on Bram, and Axel worries if he's being heard at all.
When all systems shut down, Reibek goes deep into the ship to locate the problem. Meanwhile, the crew is gathered around a campfire and tries to keep up spirits. Brechtje is fed up with Svetlana's comments.
Harold is retiring and Reibek is asked to give a farewell speech. The Tasman has traveled for almost 10 million kilometer and Bram asks if the crew wants to continue the journey beyond.
