Shigeru gets into a traffic accident while trying to pick up a ticket that was blown away by the wind. He is not seriously injured, but Yoichi is tormented by the belief that the accident was his own fault. When Shigeru regains consciousness, he is delighted with the delicious omelet that Mitsuko has made. Mitsuko's omelet, Noriko's words, and the Kabuyama couple's dinner table. Realizing something important, Yoichi makes katsudon for Ajiou again.
風に飛ばされたチケットを拾おうとして、しげるは交通事故に遭ってしまった。命に別状はなかったが、陽一は自分の責任だと苦悩する。やがてしげるの意識は戻り、みつ子が作った卵焼きをおいしいと喜ぶ。
