In einem Club trifft Michael seinen ehemaligen Mitschüler und Bandkollegen Johnny "Saxophone" Jackson wieder, der inzwischen eine große Karriere gemacht hat. Als der Pianist erkrankt, bittet Johnny seinen alten Freund, für ihn einzuspringen. Doch Michael verschweigt ihm, dass er musikalisch nicht mehr ganz auf der Höhe ist. Mit einem Trick versucht er zwar noch die Situation zu retten, aber der Abend endet trotzdem in einer Katastrophe.
When Michael's old friend and former bandmate, Johnny ""Saxophone"" Watson, comes to town for a gig, it turns out Johnny's piano player can't make it. Michael eagerly accepts an invitation to take the man's place, but refuses to admit that his musical skills have gotten rusty. Meanwhile, love is blind when it comes to Franklin realizing that his little sister, Aretha, is a much better singer than the tone-deaf Kady.
Johnny 'Saxophone' Watson, ancien compagnon de groupe de Michael vient en ville pour donner un concert. Malheureusement son pianiste ne pourra pas faire la représentation et Johnny se tourne vers Michael pour le remplacer. Michael accepte avec plaisirs mais refuse d'admettre qu'il a perdu beaucoup de son art...
Johnny, con cui Michael suonava in una band, è in città per un concerto. Ma quando il suo pianista dà forfait, Johnny chiede a Michael di sostituirlo.
Michael reencontra um amigo chamado John Saxfone Jackson, e descobre o tanto de famoso que ele está tocando piano. John chama Michael para tocar em sua banda, já que Michael inventa que é o melhor tocador de piano dos Kyle. Michael, sem saber o que fazer, pede que Franklin esconda-se embaixo dele e toque piano por ele. No final, a farsa de Michael é descoberta por todos.
