Here she is with a Naked News Bulletin. Thanks Betsy, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is the richest person on the planet, and I'm starting to see why. The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy recently published a blog post which pointed out, and I quote, “In 2017, Amazon reported 5-point-6 billion dollars of U.S. profits and didn't pay a dime of federal income taxes on it.” And as if that weren't enough, the post also mentioned that the new Republican tax plan will give them a tax break of nearly EIGHT HUNDRED MILLION dollars!
