Who is the fastest dog in the country? You’re about to find out. AKC’s Fastest Dogs USA, is part of the AKC Salutes the Troops event. This multi-event celebration celebrated canine athletes and the Army’s 250th anniversary in Georgia at the end of April and early May. Dogs of all breeds participate year-long, around the country, in AKC Fast Coursing Ability Tests (Fast CAT) – the 100-yard dash for dogs, to qualify for this invitation-only event.
