MUSIC AND DANCE PROGRAMME This evening we have dancing and singing on the menu as we meet one of the country’s finest dancers to find out his plans for the future and we visit the Dublin home of legendary singer Mary Black to talk about family, ageing and her love of music. MARY BLACK/REPORT MARY KENNEDY Mary Black has been a star on the Irish music scene for more than thirty years now. She’s well known and well loved in Ireland and abroad. Mary published her autobiography in 2014, turned 60 last year, is currently touring Ireland and in March she’s off to Australia. Recently Mary Kennedy went along to meet up with Mary at her home in Dublin to catch up with her. He was frontman with Riverdance for 7 years and he has also established a career as a Television Presenter and actor. But dance is his first love and when Anne Cassin caught up with Breandán De Gallaí in Dublin he was in the throes of preparing for his current show, Linger.
