Только тракторист Игорь знает правду про трёх пришельцев, которые приземлились в деревне и обрели человеческий облик. Участковый Сергей Петрович чует неладное, но ему никто не верит. Ведь новенькие быстро вписались в сельскую жизнь: Игорь встретил любимую в лице Светы, учительница Ира — родственную душу в образе Ромы, а дочь участкового Люба — богатыря Борю. Но скрывать правду становится труднее из-за странных событий вокруг, включая бобров, заговоривших благодаря инопланетной субстанции, попавшей в реку.
