Prince Ea is responsible for some of the most inspirational click-bait of all time, including: “Can We Auto-Correct Humanity?”; “Why I Think This World Should End”; and "EVERYBODY DIES, BUT NOT EVERYBODY LIVES”. Characterized as of late by slick cinematography, high production value and a positive message, Prince Ea's highly-shareable content now reaches an audience that rivals that of the Super Bowl. As his influence grows, and the cult of personality builds around Prince Ea himself, it's worth taking a closer look at his creative output and self-branding as it has evolved over the recent years.
I do not like Prince Ea's cringy "motivational" clickbait content. It turns out that when you criticize his videos, he becomes unglued. I'm not surprised. After removing both Boyinaband's video and my video and adding copyright strikes to our channels, Prince Ea stirred the drama pot by uploading a video called "A Response to My Haters". And boy, was it a juicy turd. If Ea thought dirty Doctor Downvote wouldn't dissect that turd and feed it back to him, he was mistaken. Prince says criticism should come in the form of an email. I refuse to comply.
Some of the exhibitionist mommies in the Youtube breastfeeding community are building massive followings by exploiting a loophole in Youtube's nudity policies. Queen of them all is Sexy Spiritual Tasha Mama, who sees nothing wrong with her viewers sexualizing her content. In fact, she's openly using her popular channel to sell “sexy clips”. Join Doctor Downvote as we take a closer, critical look at the content of Spiritual Tasha Mama.
This video is the result of a deep dive on Daddyofive's channel that began with a Reddit tip on r/nerdcity over a month ago. After the abusive nature of Mike Martin's content was exposed by Philip DeFranco this past week, the situation around Daddyofive's channel has been rapidly evolving. The family's more than 265 videos have now been either removed or set to private. But for over a year, Daddyofive built a massively popular channel on the back of this disturbing content with little to no media attention. This is what we found when researching his content prior to this becoming a trending story.
What kind of a dad would do this? Wonder no more! It's time to go inside in the mind of DaddyoFive, the “Worst Dad on Youtube”! Doctor Downvote has gotten his hands on the original disappearing ink that once belonged to DaddyOFive, used in their ill-fated “Disappearing Ink Prank” which lit the powder keg of controversy that (has almost) destroyed their channel. With Cody and Emma granted a protection order against father Mike Martin and taken out of the home by Maryland CPS, and nearly all of their videos now set to “private”, it may seem as if the DaddyoFive channel is no more, but it's not dead yet. Using that ink, and award belonging to Philip DeFrano, Doctor Downvote puts evil science to work and figures out what kind of a man would create content that celebrated the misery of children.
The conclusion to our horrible DaddyOFive trilogy examines the people drawn to Mike Martin's abusive content, who are still congregating to attack his enemies and awaiting his return. In his most recent Tweet, DaddyOFive encouraged his followers ("real fans ONLY!") to go join a Facebook group. What's inside that toxic community? And what kind of comments did they leave on his (now) private videos? Come with Doctor Downvote as we take a closer look at "Team DO5."
We already know that you can become famous for having a big butt. Social media stars like Jen Selter and Sommer Ray are proof of that. Rise of celebrities with prominent rear-ends, like Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Nicki Minaj offer further evidence of this. But can you also become famous on Instagram for PRETENDING to have a big butt? In Episode 1 of Nerd City's Try Hards, we put our theories to the test. After decades where long legs and flat stomachs held the public's gaze, is this now the age of the booty, where nothing else could matter more?
Is the secret to becoming "Instagram famous" as simple as photoshopping your butt, and pretending to be rich? After securing an arsenal full of brightly colored yoga pants and learning Jen Selter's classic Instagram poses in Episode 1, Try Hards Episode 2 examines the expensive lifestyle that appears to be crucial for becoming an Instagram influencer. Celebrity Photoshop fails provide a roadmap for what might be another important trick: make your butt look bigger than it is! If an apology involves a stripper pole, does it count as double? RiceGum's replies to idubbbz' Content Cop were so astonishingly misguided that Doctor Downvote had to take a closer look, and go inside the mind of this imaginary rap artist.
Has a video been demonetized, removed from recommended, or buried by search? These codes will tell you why. When Youtube's automated demonetization bot determines that an upload features non-advertiser friendly content, secret codes are attached to the video's metadata. Some of these numbers have now been decoded. Additionally, there is now statistical evidence that these demonetized videos are being suppressed within Youtube's search and discovery algorithms.
Carelessly-edited photos are a public safety hazard! Photoshop Inspector Drew Gooden from the Department of Safety and Filters conducts a surprise inspection of the Try Hards project, and finds code violations galore. But is there a worse offender? Does a certain Youtuber who loves to create colorful “story time videos” also embellish her body parts on Instagram? Part 3 of Try Hards brings NickyTryHard's Instagram experiment to a close. In a chapter sure to be of interest to fellow aspiring Instagram try hards, the methods of promotion on social media are laid bare. Idubbbz guest stars as the European hero and host of MTV Crab, Mostafa Elsokari, reading the most romantic DM Nicky received.
We asked Twitter for the most burning questions, and now it's time to get all the answers.

SSSniperwolf is a reaction channel and an infamous "gamergirl" with well-documented habits of insulting other women for their looks, criticizing their photopshopping mistakes, and calling out people for undergoing cosmetic surgery. In the first episode of Thot Patrol, we'll take a closer look at some of Lia's hypocrisies in these areas. We'll also look at some editing techniques and Adobe plugins that can help edit Youtube or Instagram content similar to hers. Sssniperwolf does indeed beautify her content, for some reason she denies that she does, and she's really not that good at it.
Nerdline EP01 follows up on the Sssniperwolf ThotPatrol episode, and a week that included Twitter blocks, Drama Alert, and a poorly photoshopped Fortnite cosplay that many people spotted editing mistakes on. Although Lia is quick to criticize people for tweaking their photos, she can't seem to resist the temptation to do it herself. And the results are nearly as bad as the “Photoshop Fails” she loves to roast.
Jake Paul content is illegal to broadcast in the US, UK, and EU. Look inside the mind and merch operation of a social media mogul.
Shane Dawson asked Jake Paul to react to our video. Jake lied and played dumb.
This is part 1 of the Try Hards series focusing on merch. We do a deep-dive on t-shirt manufacturing to try to figure out how to make the best merch we can, and share all the information we've learned in the process. We begin by buying the merch of fellow Youtubers, including Pewdiepie, Jake Paul, Maverick Merch by Logan Paul, Teddy Fresh by Ethan and Hila Klein, Jacksfilms, Neon Grizzly by Internet Comment Etiquette, Coolshirtz, Ayylien Clothing by Elvis the Alien, and many more.
This is part two of the Try Hards series about creating a merch line. In order to sell graphic tees, first we'll need artwork. This video answers some common questions about hiring freelance artists, including “how much does it cost to hire an artist,” “how do I find a freelance artist”, “can I ask for revisions,” and “will I owe the artist royalties?” We go over some best practices we learned for contract work, as well as some mistakes we (intentionally) made regarding payments. We also shout out ten artists who are willing to take freelance gigs.
The secret list of words causing demonetization by Youtube bots. Ft. Internet Comment Etiquette, Rusty Cage
Lele Pons has been heavily promoted by social media platforms to young viewers, perhaps more than any other Youtube creator. She has accumulated a massive following between the ages 9-18, particularly among preteen girls. Lele's videos are sloppy, noisy, and heavy on slapstick; the production style quickly fatigues adult viewers, who may be quick to write it off as "for kids". However, in nearly every single video she uploads, Lele steps over the lines of what society deems appropriate for child viewers. Like her fellow Viner Jake Paul, Lele Pons weaves in advertising that is aimed at children, little of which complies with the long-standing industry or government regulations for child advertising. And despite Lele's participation body-positivity content and her encouragement to viewers to "be yourself", Lele doesn't hold herself to that same standard. A ThotPatrol investigation reveals heavy edits to her body by the reshape and liquify tools found in Facetune and Photoshop.
Jaystation is the infamous YouTuber best known for his series of "3AM challenges'. He sought to create controversies for attention and demonstrated time and time again there was very little he wasn't willing to do in order to achieve it.
A tragic tale of the greatest living marketer becoming the worst artist in history.
SSSniperwolf and Azzyland; who is copying who? Hundreds of millions of their fans believe a lie. I talked to@AzzyLandand heard her side of the story for the very first time.
SSSniperwolf had a public meltdown after finishing last at the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am tournament. The target of Lia's rage speaks with us about the incident.
