Everyone knows Spider-Man. From Peter Parker to Miles Morales, the friendly neighborhood hero has become one of the most recognizable characters in pop culture history. But long before the modern Spider-Verse movies, Marvel allowed Japan to create their own completely unique version of Spider-Man. This version of Spider-Man wasn’t Peter Parker. Instead, the hero was Takuya Yamashiro, a motorcycle racer who gained powers from an alien warrior and fought an evil organization known as the Iron Cross Army. Oh… and he also piloted a giant transforming robot.
