When the beast gets loose, it begins infecting innocent people including Frank Dominus, and the only cure for this deadly infection is the blood of the beast itself. Johnny has to done the Nightman suit to track down the beast, while fighting for his own life since he's been affected as well.

    E Haskell Bridges breaks out of prison after having a face makeover that allows him to shift his face into anyones he wants. His ultimate plot after reunting with his beautiful but evil galpal Samantha is to get revenge on Frank Dominus and Lt. Charlie Dann for putting him away. He goes to ""The House of Soul"" and gasolines the hall, igniting a fire that nearly kills Jessica Rodgers. Nightman saves her, then comes face to face with Bridges. Though Nightman suspects Bridges to be dead after he plummets him into the ocean, he's still alive, lounging on a beach somewhere with his galpal and waiting to return and get his revenge.

    Joran enlists the help of a fellow ""star child"",Rachael, who is able to hypnotize people with the power of her will to do her bidding to help him kill Johnny and assume his power.They both follow Johnny and friends to a ski resort where Johnny is set to play to play with a famous musician,Woody Gillis.Joran uses to Rachael as a deterrent to distract Johnny from who he really is and who his friends are,turning him into a detestable person.The battle reaches it's climax where Joran leads Nightman to the top of a mountain known as ""Devil's Run"" for a showdown,hand to hand With Johnny's friends trapped in a car under an avalanche that Joran caused,and time running out,Nightman ultimately fights Joran over the top of the mountain,and Joran falls to his death.

    E. Haskell Bridges is back and this time he is going after Johnny. He uses a device to knock Johnny out and assumes his face and proceeds to kill several and leave behind evidence that Johnny is the killer. Johhny not believing that he is a killer consults with Dr. Walton, who can't find anything wrong. Bridges with Johnny's face is approached by Raleigh, who shows him the Nightman suit which he takes after knocking Raleigh out. Johnny bumps into Bridges' female accomplice and starts to get visions from her of Bridges; she was about to zap him when Johnny grabs and locks her up. Johnny finds Raleigh unconscious and discovers that Bridges got the suit but Johnny has another suit which he puts on and goes after him. They battle in the air and Bridges falls to his death or does he.

  • S02E01 The Ultraweb

    After being struck by the fatal lightning storm a year before, computer genius Kieran Keyes created a living internet called the Ultraweb. After discovering the true identity of NightMan, Keyes lures Johnny's father Frank Dominus into the Ultraweb, ultimately creating a showdown between father and son - Dominus only knowing NightMan as Bay City's masked vigilante. NightMan threatens to put Keyes out permanently if he doesn't spare Frank's life and release him from the Ultraweb's confines. Keyes agrees to send Frank back, killing him in the process. NightMan makes a new archenemy.

While battling Barzun's dark magic, Johnny/NightMan learns that he's a ""chosen one"" and that the lightning strike was no accident.

    After Raleigh has a nightmare in which Kieren Keyes' Ultraweb causes the destruction of The House of Soul, a real nightmare occurs when the fulltime singer, Jasmine, is electrocuted during a performance by what appears to be a shorted wire in her microphone. Johnny is almost certain Keyes is trying to get a singer inside the club to keep tabs. When time-to-time singer Crystal shows up to offer herself as a sub during Jasmine's recovery, suspicion arises as to if perhaps a past singer, who wants to have a full time gig at The House of Soul, was hired out by Keyes to carry out the sabatoge. Briony, Johnny and Raleigh recall past singers and events surrounding them, hoping to piece together a suspect. When things get nearly hopeless, Jasmine return to The House of Soul, but acting differently. Raleigh discovers she's really Keyes' henchwoman, Ally, who has used Ultraweb technology to disguise herself as Jasmine. Branca whom he gives an order to assist him in locating his son. The priestess goes to Johnny and puts a curse on him.
