A giant cloud of hydrogen and cosmic dust doesn't move, much less this fast. It had to be closing thousands of lightyears in hours. Minutes. We needed the Astraeus to monitor it at first, but by the end of the day it was visible to the naked eye. The closer it got, the more scrambled our systems became.
