The re-opening of a scientific ice study station in Greenland. For three months, scientists bore, stock and analyze the ice-core in order to reconstitute the variations in temperatures and the chemical composition of the atmosphere in the past. Will these studies give us a better understanding of the earth's climate and allow us to foresee its evolution?
Au nord du Groenland, un groupe de scientifiques installé à la base de North Grip effectue des carottages afin de reconstituer le climat passé de la Terre et essayer de prévoir son évolution. Nous suivons la réinstallation saisonnière du camp alors que la première tâche des scientifiques est de retrouver l’entrée des labos, enfouie sous plusieurs mètres de neige !
