There's a grand opening for Danish chain Tiger's flagship Oxford Street store - but will it be a success? An Oxford Street shopper has taken a nasty fall on a tube escalator and is badly injured. British Transport Police paramedics are forced to take drastic action to help her. We also meet the dedicated Thames Water team that keeps Oxford Street's sewers flowing. There's some Victorian equipment that needs their attention - if they can get past the rats.

And it's not just any old proposal - there's a choir, musicians, dancers, a groom with a guitar and half a dozen hidden cameras. But will she say yes?

It's called manning the gates and we see how staff go about it. There are vermin on the loose above and below ground. We follow rat catcher Gary as he cracks down on rodents, while harris hawk Hope takes on feral pigeons. And, night in the department store: the staff at John Lewis complete their nightly restock.

We meet the personal shopper helping the Great British public dress better. A light has gone out at a landmark Oxford Street building. The problem is, it's 400 feet above the ground.
