The Ross family purchased a former mercantile store and veterinary hospital in 1952 to turn into a thriving family business. It started as a shop to sell glassware of all kinds, but eventually evolved into a used furniture and antique store. In the 1970s the family also bought the house next door, after the couple who lived there passed away. The built a connecting doorway between the house and the store on the second floor, and that is where the story begins.
