Whitney is disgusted to learn that Theresa plans to blackmail Ethan and Gwen and to trade one child for another, but before Pilar can voice her disapproval, Theresa takes off to call Paloma in Mexico. When she gets back, Pilar begs Theresa not to do this, because this child is an innocent who does not deserve to be used like a bargaining chip. Theresa refuses to change her mind, and Pilar wonders how her daughter could have turned out so selfish. Sheridan enjoys Luis' kiss, but tells him that it cannot happen again, because she is a married woman, and it is wrong for a married woman to be getting involved with another man.
