Call to Glory

Burner ist wie ausgewechselt nach seiner dramatischen Rettung und hat nur noch schlechte Laune. Vor allem Spoon und Ice bekommen das zu spüren. Als Ice bei einer Bodentruppen-Übung am Arm verletzt wird, darf sie zunächst nicht ihren Pilotendienst fortsetzen. Kelly und Hammer sind nach diesem Ausfall zu beschäftigt, um Burners Ausfälle zu registrieren. Schließlich kommt es zu einer heftigen Auseinandersetzung zwischen Spoon und Burner, nach der Burner endlich mit sich ins Reine zu kommen scheint...

Burner returns to shore and Spoon, Ice and Kate exult in his return from near death, but Burner is joyless. Ice is injured by an explosion and is medically grounded by Lt. Lawrence Brandon, her doctor, until her arm is strong enough to work the ejector lever. Spoon is jealous of the doctor and is having trouble getting over his near romance with Ice. Kelly investigates to try and find where the unexploded ordinance came from.
