This series of Play School is all about collections. Encouraging young children to have their own collections enables them to develop many important skills. Children sharpen their literacy and numeracy as they label, classify, sort and order the items in their collections. Their observation and language skills are further developed as they seek out items to add and engage others as they describe the collection.
