    The second series of this gripping Israeli drama picks up with Jamal’s death and the release of the terrorist Abdullah Bin-Rashid, which undermines the position of Yussuf in the Children of the Jihad organization. Uri and Nimrode try to push the Ministry of Defense into figuring out where Amiel is by exposing the CD they received from Ruth Shorer. Meanwhile, Nurit leaves her home and moves into a new apartment with Uri, while Nimrode comes to a decision regarding his relationship with Talia.

    Talia has a break down while Nimrode is out partying. Uri and Nurit try to bridge the gap formed by the past 17 years. After meeting Yinon, and trying to put the past behind her, Yael packs up all of Amiel’s things and puts them in storage. Haim Cohen interrogates the matter of Amiel, which is full of twists and turns and involves another Mossad agent. Meanwhile, Yussuf and Abdullah head out to handle an arms deal, which Abdullah nearly blows.

    The past troubles Yussuf, while Abdullah tries to revive the tradition of recruiting children to be martyrs. Finally, Yussuf is put to a test of faith. Iris extracts information about the Children of the Jihad, and she and Haim Cohen continue Atar Shorer’s investigation and try to solve the mystery of the new leader of the organization. Talia tries to get Nimrode to come back home. Meanwhile, Uri shares the horrors of captivity with Nurit, and the psychological mind games their captors tortured them with.

    The connection between Jamal and Amiel is revealed, as well as the process that ended with him becoming Yussuf. He struggles with the consequences of the shooting and the mounting pressure to execute an act of terrorism against Israel. Iris and Haim Cohen turn to an old university professor of his to learn about Stockholm Syndrome, and discover new details about Atar Shorer and the POWs. Yael Ben Horins belongings are stolen from storage.

  • S02E05 Platoon Secretary

    Iris and Haim discover new details in the investigation tying Amiel, Atar Shorer and Dr. Ze'ev Kaplan together. A cat and mouse detective game develops between Haim and Ze'ev, who is busy skillfully training the talented Yinon. Nimrode's violent deterioration continues. His situation crosses red lines, and he's interested in resolving it. Meanwhile, Talia, in a deep depression, is exposed to a ray of light in the form of Dr. Shmuel Ostrovsky, who comes over to help her.

    Atar Shorer executes a meticulous recruitment of Yinon, and Iris's investigation leads her to "Operation Judas";. Nurit is fraught with anxiety and guilt over her decision. Nimrode spends a happy, emotionally charged evening with Michaela, the company clerk he had an affair with 17 years ago. Meanwhile, Abdullah hums a Hebrew song to Yussuf. Together, they take another step toward executing a terrorist act, but Abdullah remains unconvinced of Yussuf's true motivations.

  • S02E07 The Picture

    The mystery of the picture of the man on the shore with his two children, which hangs both in the villa at Jabaliya and at the home in Al Ajar village, continues to trouble Uri, who is ordered by Haim Cohen to investigate the matter with Iris. Across the border, this same picture consoles Yussuf. He's being followed by Abdullah, who's closing in on his secret drop-off spot, and his wife, who's looking into details from his past. Nimrode struggles with adapting to his new life, both economically, when he cannot afford to buy himself new clothes, and socially, when he’s invited over to a dinner party at Michaela's.
