"Beggars and children" would be the literal translation of the Croatian television series "Prosjaci i Sinovi". The series hasn't been shown in public until 1984 because of the movement called "Croatian Spring", and it was first shown on TV of Zagreb. Ivan Raos wrote a novel about his homeland (Imotski), and Antun Vrdoljak, made a TV adaptation for television series of 13 episodes, which are displaying family of beggars in their struggle for survival on the hard stone of Dalmacija.
