八卦雜誌記者唐亮星因交通意外痛失左耳，接受移植手術後獲得老鼠超能力。亮星為功利造假新聞，與正義女警宋凱甄發生衝突而雙雙失業。凱甄得舅父明君毅鼓勵，轉當私家偵探。亮星偷窺女神明卓淇被凱甄抓住，凱甄以超能力證據迫亮星助她查案。拜金女唐美芬與富家子隋俊偉結怨，慘被百般戲弄。俊偉落難，美芬不計前嫌施援手。亮星利用超能力破案，漸漸自大起來！此時凱甄驚悉君毅真實一面，亮星相助卻陷入超能力耗盡，變成老鼠的危機！
