Redd Foxx (akaThe Redd Foxx Comedy Hour) was a short-lived NBC variety series that aired in 1977, starring comedian Redd Foxx, who had become hugely popular earlier in the decade as Fred Sanford on Sanford and Son. The program followed the classic 1970s television variety format, combining stand-up comedy, musical numbers, sketches, and celebrity guest appearances. It aired as an hour-long special-style series on NBC during the 1977–78 television season.
