Sydney und Nigel sind zusammen mit ihrem Führer Carlos im mittelamerikanischen Dschungel unterwegs, um nach einer alten aztekischen Pyramide zu suchen. Als sie diese erreicht haben, entdecken sie in ihr eine geheime unterirdische Grabkammer, in der sich eine reich verzierte Schatulle mit einer wertvollen Statue als Inhalt befindet. Doch auf dem Rückweg entpuppen sich Carlos als raffgieriges Mitglied einer Guerillabande und die kleine Statue als tödliches Machtinstrument.
Event: CENTRAL AMERICA 1488 A.D.
Sydney and Nigel are in Central America with a guide, Carlos, tyring to get into an Aztec pyramid. They succeed and recover a ruby-eyed statue. Carlos betrays them, tying them up and taking the statue. They manage to get free and go after him, only to find him dead, and the opened box nearby. They take the box and try to escape by train, but Carlos was working with mercenaries who also want the statue. A thief on the train tries to steal the statue and also ends up dead. Sydney belives the statue has a curse and vows to take it back to the pyramid. With the aid of the NSA man who gave her the coordinates, she and Nigel get back. The head of the mercenaries tries to take the devil doll but ends up dead as well, as a ghostly image of an Aztec priest rears up. Sydney seals the doll within the pyramid once more.
Sydney et Nigel sont en Amérique Latine avec leur guide Carlos et entrent dans une pyramide aztèque. A l'intérieur, ils retrouvent une statue ornée d'un oeil en rubis. Mais Carlos les trahit et les abandonne en emportant la statue. Sydney et Nigel réussissent malgré tout à sortir de la pyramide, mais ce n'est que pour retrouver Carlos sans vie...
Syd és Nigel Közép-Amerikában egy feltáratlan indián piramisból ment ki egy szobrot. Aki a szoborhoz kézzel nyúl, azt a szobor megöli. Erre Sydék akkor jönnek rá, amikor már több tolvaj megpróbálta ellopni a szobrot, de mind meghalt. Elhatározzák, hogy ennek az ereklyének nem szabad napvilágot látnia, ezért visszaindulnak a templomba, hogy elrejtsék a babát. Csakhogy a dzsungelben lázadó katonák masíroznak...
Sydney e Nigel si trovano in Centro America, con Carlos, per recuperare una statuetta in una piramide azteca. Ma Carlos li tradisce e fugge con il reperto. Sydney e Nigel lo trovano in seguito cadavere. Carlos stava lavorando con dei mercenari che ora vogliono la statuetta. Un ladro, sul treno del ritorno preso dai due studiosi, prova a rubare la reliquia ma finisce anch'egli stecchito. Sydney si convince che la statuetta della bambola possieda una maledizione e progetta quindi di riportarla alla piramide. Ma il capo dei mercenari non è ancora fuori gioco ed attacca i nostri eroi finendo con il rimanere ucciso a pochi passi dal fantasma di un sacerdote azteco. Sydney nasconde di nuovo il reperto, sperando così che in futuro nessun'altro riesca a trovarlo.

Sydney y Nigel están acompañados por un guía que les va a introducir dentro de una pirámide azteca de la cual dicen que esconde un gran misterio. Una vez en su interior, el grupo encuentra una vieja y misteriosa estatua que más tarde el guía robará. Sydney y su compañero tratan de encontrarlo, pero cuando lo hacen es demasiado tarde: está muerto. Ambos piensan que el objeto esta maldito y deciden devolverlo a la pirámide.
