    Kidnappers hold electronicist Brandon Oliver hostage and demand a special ransom: Brandon Oliver's highly valuable new gadget. Ted McKeever can't understand why pretty Dana Oliver demands his company prove they can drop a crate of eggs by parachute without cracking a shell. When Ted's team demonstrates its capabilities, she reveals the reason for her strange request - she wants Ted, Jim and Chuck to airdrop a top-secret and extremely fragile missile instrument to ransom her father who is being held prisoner in the mountains by technology-savvy kidnappers.

  • S01E11 Log Jam

    • December 6, 1961

    A lumberman hires Ted and Jim to break up a log jam. The two skydivers fly a charge of nitroglycerin over the logging área. McKeever and Buckley fly a charge of nitroglycerin over a logging area to break up a log jam. Everything goes according to schedule until it is discovered that the man who packed the nitro failed to include dry ice which would counteract the instability of the explosive in "Log Jam."

    A man kidnaps a rancher's wife. McKeever and Buckley become involved when a skydiving Reverend who is a protege of McKeever is also captured by the abductor.

    Irresponsible Speed Domaine and his son are lost in a missile-target area. Skydivers McKeever and Buckley para-jump into a missile target area in a desperate effort to rescue a man and his son in "The Silver Cord."

    Fugitive criminal Steve Danton (Lane Bradford) forces Chuck Lambert to take him aloft in the Skydiver.s, Inc., plane, leaving Ted McKeever and Jim Buckley grounded.

  • S01E17 Airborne

    Ted McKeever's skydiving pupil Suzy Thomas runs afoul of a gang of hot-rodders. Puzzled and angered by the young men's attitude Ted steps into action. McKeever challenges the young hot-rodders to try skydiving.

    Ted, captured by a claim jumper, looks for a way to signal Jim. While Ted (Larry Pennell) flies over a ghost town to make a routine drop of supplies to a man named Henry Travis (Hank Patterson) who is a prospector, Ted sees Travis makes the drop and then after turning back Travis is gone, Ted parachutes to find Travis, but gets ambushed.

    James Coburn plays an injured bank robber on the lam. The crook is an ex-paratrooper, on the run from the law. He holds Jim Buckley captive. Buckley tries to escape by using the walkie-talkie radio in "Double Drop."

    Ted and Jim drop onto dangerous terrain to search for a trapped youth---and the boy's overeager rescuer. A desperate father, believing he's on the trail of a man he thinks kidnaped his child, is bent on murder in "Desperate Choice."

    Eric Askley substitutes a dummy parachute for the one his wife packs for her first attempt at sky diving.

    The jungle becomes a nightmarish prison for a stranded Ted and Jim. McKeever and Buckley skydive with some medicine to a Central American epidemic area where natives steal their survival kits.

    Trapped in a mountainous region surgeon Joe's son is suffering from a head injury and desperately needs medical aid. But a violent storm had halted all attempts to reach the boy.

    Jim Buckley and Ted McKeever parachute onto the fishing boat Sapphire by mistake and are held up and brigged along with a long sought war criminal who "was recentry captured by freelancers anxious to bring the Nazi to trial, in "Sentence of Death."

    Kidnappers abandon a girl in a mountain range, not knowing that she is a diabetic. She succumbs to an insulin coma and the ripcord team is called to jump into the area and try to find the girl. Navy parachutists join the search for a diabetic girl abandoned in the mountains.

    An ex-con tries to help Ted elude a killer named Cort after Ted and Jim arrive to investigate the suspicious deaths of three uranium prospectors. Uranium prospectors trespass on a government atomic proving ground.

  • S01E34 Radar Rescue

    The skydivers can’t make a rescue jump due to thick clouds. They are desperate to land near a small plane that crashed on a remote mountainside to assist an injured pilot and his little girl. The bombardier of a B-52 in the same airspace suggests guiding them in by radar from 20,000 feet as if they’re bombs.

    Diplomatic secrets are lost when a U.N. diplomat dies in a plane crash. McKeever and Buckley dive into the hazardous area to retrieve the vital papers in "Diplomatic Mission."

  • S01E36 Hurricane Charlie

    Ted McKeever hires a pilot to fly him to a jump target on a commercial mission. Ted suspects sabotage when the pilot creates difficulties to prevent a take-off in "Hurricane Charlie." The Ripcord pilot, Charlie, is never wrong about the weather, even when all appearances are against him.

    Gunmen, G-men and a beautiful girl get into the act as Ted and Jim go to work for an industrialist. The Ripcord boys are commissioned by the F.B.I, to take delivery of a special package. This turns out to be more complicated than they expect.

    The boys try to intercept an assassin. Ted and Jim go on a hunting expedition to stop a hired assassin from killing a political leader. The Ripcord jumpers, assisted by the secret service, go on a hunting expedition looking for a highly paid assassin in "The Hunter."

  • S02E01 Aerial Backfire

    An 8-year-old hires Ted and Jim to rescue his dog from a burning forest.

    Ted and Jim meet Race Morgan, a likeable rascal who makes a business of bringing in criminals to the police for the reward they carry.

    Series of mishaps threaten the lives of state senator and representative when jammed landing gear and missing parachutes combine to a sure disaster for two air-borne senators.

  • S02E08 Day Of The Hunter

    McKeever and Buckley find a munitions factory owner injured by a gunshot. As they try to save him another man threatens them.

    McKeever and Buckley venture into the desert and find a mysterious mine containing uranium. Even geiger-counters can sometimes be misleading. Ted and Jim do their best to convince two uranium prospectors that they have not struck lucky.

    Mystery shrouds a Latin-American village where the boys arrive just in time for a nonexistent party. A Latin American woman plans a fiesta for an old friend.

    Ted and Jim sky dive into a canyon to warn a businessman of an escaped convict who intends to kill him.

    Ted and Jim try to get the drop on a ring of counterfeiters. Hired to drop crates of machinery into a mountainous region, Ted and Jim find unexpected trouble.

    A mid-air accident shakes Jim's (Ken Curtis) faith in skydiving. Jim nearly dies in an aerial trick, and doesn't want to jump again. Ted's on a job, and ends up hanging on the edge of a cliff, and Jim needs to come to his rescue.

    Tom and Reba Mason dupe Ted and Jim into destroying a dam. Ted and Jim are called upon for "special work" by two youngsters who secretly are plotting to wreck their home town.

    McKeever joins a girl insurance Investigator in search of a stolen payroll and later learns she may be a girl friend of the thieves.

    The district attorney slaps an injunction on Ripcord,grounding all jumpers, pilots, and students. The plaintiff is a lawyer whose son has signed with Ripcord to learn parachuting instead of going to law school in “The Trouble with Denny Collins."

  • S02E24 The Final Jump

    The members of Ripcord, Inc., volunteer for an air search for a young boy believed lost in a densely wooded area. The lost boy’s father turns out to be one of the most wanted criminals in the country. The Ripcord boys help a son to change his mind.

  • S02E25 Picture Of Terror

    A photographer who specialises in pictures of disaster hires the Ripcord boys to fly over a forest fire. The boys are suspicious of a photographer who keeps in the chips by his unerring ability to forecast disasters.

    Two men are seriousy injured in a mountain-climbing accident. One, crawling to get help, is picked up by a motorist who delivers him to a hospital. Police hear his story and call Ripcord to help find the second man in "Flight for Life.”

  • S02E34 The Proud Little Man

    Ripcord, Inc.'s pilot goes half blind and tries to keep it from Ted and Jim. Jim concocts an elaborate scheme to rehabilitate the pilot who goes half blind, but the scheme backfires.

    A man has a heart attack while at sea in on open boat with his eight-year-old son. He manages to radio a desperate S.O.S. The Coast Guard can't get a fix on the distressed boat's location in "Semper Paratus — Any Time,"

    Steve Brodie guest stars as a writer who attacks Ripcord, Inc. as unsafe and is tricked by Ted and Jim into-- of all things-- skydiving,

  • S02E37 Where Do Elephants Go To Die ?

    Ted McKeever and Jim Buckley, are asked by Nobel Prize novelist Aaron Sporks to be taught how to sky dive, in "Where Do the Elephants Go to Die?" The Ripcord boys are unaware the doctor has been given him one year to live and is planning suicide.
