The first 10 singers perform for the judges. For the first time ever, fans at home decide who moves on and who goes home LIVE in real time. Singer/song writer Josh Groban is the host. Country music superstar Brad Paisley, music sensation Kesha, and hip hop artist and actor Ludacris, comprise the expert panel.
The second round of live auditions bring some real nail-biting performances as 12 new performers from across the country perform for the judges and the entire live-voting audience.
The last group of 10 all-new performers take the stage and Expert Brad Paisley performs his new single "River Bank" live.
Contestants are paired up into duels, with only one from each pair going through to the quarterfinals.
