The series consists of sixteen heats featuring eight robots each. Each heat begins with two four-way melees, with two winning robots progressing to the second round, consisting of one-on-one battles. The winners of each second round battle will then face each other in the Heat Final, the winner of which will advance to the Semi-Finals.
