  • S01E01 Red Centre: Part 1

    Travel with Russell Coight as he heads north into the Outback to help out a mate with the annual cattle muster. On the way he looks for some bush tucker, helps out a stranded motorist and sets up his nightly camp, all the while offering many handy tips.

    Russ is half way to that cattle muster and stops into Alice Springs to check out the mighty Ghan railroad, offers a lift to a fellow female traveller and finally arrives at that cattle muster. The cattle are mustered and the fun starts Russell shows off his superb dancing skills and his handy-work with a stock-whip.

    Russell Coight takes you right to the heart of the fragile wilderness that is the Daintree Rainforest. He explores it's magnificent beaches, checks out the world heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef and helps out an old mate with a crook croc.

    Russ takes 3 young city kids, Justin, Hayley and Phil for a break up bush and teaches them a thing or to about the outback. The lessons include setting camp, abseiling and an excellent afternoon's horse-riding. 2 blokes stranded with a bogged car also get the Coight treatment and they are soon on their way.

    Part 2 of the kids country awakening. They love it out there in the bush with Russell. Russ teaches them to shear a sheep, gives them a valuable history lesson about the early settlers, shows them how to set a trap to catch a wild animal and the all important safe use of a firearm.

    Russell needs to do a bit of travelling to get to his niece Penny's wedding in far north Queensland. On the way he takes part in a fishing challenge with some old mates, has a couple of beers in a local pub and finally arrives at the wedding - by helicopter.

Season 2

  • S02E01 Muster

    Travel with Russell to outback New South Wales for more adventures. He'll teach you about tyre pressure, home-made camp chairs, visit Lee Kernaghan at home and meet his stockie mates for a Muster. Branding, lassoing and driving a bull-catcher are just all in a day's work for Russell Coight.

    Russell takes four friendly foreign folk up to the High Country for the trip of a life-time. All the while giving them facts and figures about the wonderful Australian flora and fauna. No need for a guide-book, Russell has it all in his head.

    The outback trip with the 4 tourists continues with more amazing experiences and plenty more tips from Russell. He teaches them the finer points of a camp roast, of gun safety and runs into an old mate who joins them round the fire.

  • S02E04 Explorer: Part 1

    Russell begins a journey to retrace the steps of the two explorer's Forbes and Montgomery. During the journey he helps a farmer's wife with a snake in her outhouse, drops in at a camel farm and heats up his lunch in the car engine. His aim is to locate the long lost site of Forbes' grave which has never been found. The journey continues in the next episode.

  • S02E05 Explorer: Part 2

    Russell continues his journey retracing the steps of explorers William Montgomery and Oscar Forbes visiting a couple of farmers and revealing plenty of historical information along the way. Russell finally locates the final resting place of Forbes and creates a memorial of his own.

  • S02E06 Rare Roo

    Russell travels through the outback to return a rare baby roo to its original habitat. On the way he shows some kids the finer points of surf life-saving, helps some hippies fix their van and gives a couple of female back-packers a lift north.

  • S02E07 Rogue Croc

    Russell takes a special fan out to the outback for a week of fun and to learn a few of the Coight tricks. Aidan learns a lot about crocodiles, building bush shelters and traps and a couple of camp-fire games. It is a trip Aidan won't forget in a hurry.
