In this special Halloween episode, we explore the encounters and confrontations between Vlad III, the Impaler of Wallachia, and Mehmed II, the Conqueror of Constantinople. Far beyond the legend of the vampire or Eastern exoticism, we investigate how the stories of Christian resistance and Ottoman expansion intersect in the heart of the Balkans in the turbulent 15th century.
