Durch Zufall wird eine Journalistin Zeugin eines Gags, den sich Elaine mit George und Jerry leistet und nimmt daraufhin an, daß die beiden homosexuell sind. Als George und Jerry dann ihr vermeintliches Verhältnis aus der Zeitung erfahren, hat das natürlich weitreichende familiäre Konsequenzen...

No thanks to Elaine, Jerry must work hard to prove he is straight when a college reporter mistakenly reports that he and George are gay, "not that there is anything wrong with that." Things really get out of hand when the article is picked up by the New York Post.

Yliopistolehden toimittaja kuulee kahvilassa Elainen sanovan Jerrylle ja Georgelle, että heidän olisi aika lopettaa salailu ja olla avoimesti homopari. Uutinen leviää kulovalkean tavoin ja järkyttää mm. Georgen äitiä niin, että tämä joutuu sairaalaan pudottuaan vessanpöntöltä. George puolestaan huomaa, että homona hän saattaisi hyvinkin päästä eroon tyttöystävästään Allisonista.

A la suite d'une plaisanterie, Sharon, une journaliste venue interviewer Jerry, se méprend et croit que ce dernier est gay et qu'il vit en couple avec George. Malgré les démentis des deux hommes, Sharon va publier la nouvelle dans les journaux, donnant alors des idées à George qui souhaite se débarrasser de sa petite amie Alison quelque peu envahissante.

Sharon, una giornalista della New York University incaricata di intervistare Jerry, si convince che lui e George formino una coppia gay. Entrambi negano con forza di essere omosessuali, ma al tempo stesso si preoccupano di non apparire omofobi.

Quando um jornalista universitário que ouviu conversas às escondidas escreveu que Jerry e o amigo são antigos companheiros íntimos, Jerry sua inutilmente as estopinhas para provar que é heterossexual. E, quando os grandes jornais da cidade sabem da história, Jerry tem muito que explicar aos pais muito agitados.

Una periodista hace un reportaje sobre Jerry y George en el que "revela" que son una pareja gay. Jerry intentará desmentir el rumor y evitar que The New York Post compre el artículo.

Graças a Elaine, um colega repórter publica um artigo dizendo que Jerry e George são gays. As coisas se complicam ainda mais quando a reportagem sai no barulhento jornal The New York Post.
