Os Bonecos de Santo Aleixo, títeres tradicionais do Alentejo, preservados pelo coletivo artístico do CENDREV - Centro Dramático de Évora foram capazes de assimilar muito do que são os hábitos, as músicas, os ritmos, as dinâmicas, o humor, as histórias que foram, que passam, que foram passando, O facto de os ouvirmos hoje decorre de uma tradição oral que soube resistir em comunidade, tornando-se voz de um lugar, de uma região que, no caso, expressa o seu sentir manipulando marionetas.
The Bonecos de Santo Aleixo are traditional puppets from Alentejo, preserved by the artistic collective CENDREV. They were able to assimilate much of the habits, the music, the rhythms, the dynamics, the humour, the stories that were, that pass by, that were passing by. The fact that we can hear them today is the result of an oral tradition that found its way to resist in the community, becoming the voice of a place, of a region, which, in this case, expresses its feelings manipulating puppets.
