  • S01E01 Poachers

    The koalas of the Waratah National Park come under threat when three men try to sneak into the Park at night. Skippy sounds the alarm, but the Hammond's wonder if Dr. Stark was behind the attempted theft.

    A local sports car rally threatens the peace, quiet and safety of the Waratah National Park. Matt must deal with it in full force when one of the cars crash, with the driver trapped underneath. The Rally organises decide to choose another, safer venue.

    Matt, Sonny and Skippy have to stop theives with spear guns, after a team of geologists find aluvial gold in a reef at Seal Rocks, near the mouth of Flinders River.

    A visiting marine biological is collecting specimens for her research. When Matt tells Mark to accompany her, he does so relucantly until he meets her. While collecting the specimens, Skippy and Sonny get into trouble on a runaway speedboat, which leaves Sonny unconscious.

    Clancy's father, Tom Merrick, is moving his family as he is going to be the Head Ranger of a new Park. Matt offers to take in Clancy, so she can finish her school exams and then join them. What they don't know yet is, Clancy likes to play the piano, early in the morning!

    While out with Skippy, Clancy and Sonny stumble across an escaped prisoner who is desperate not to return to jail. The prisoner takes them hostage and Skippy heads for home to get Matt.

    Matt is suspicious of an old swagman, Mr Trundle, who comes to the Waratah National Park. Sonny is taken in by all the man's tales of his life. When he leaves, he gives Sonny a present of an antinque watch. Worried about the gift, Matt takes it to the local police station, where he learns about the real person who owned the watch and his secret.

    Skippy is implicated in a crime of theft, after a jewellry thief places a braclet in her pouch. However, when the Hammond's hop on their float with Skippy, the theif has to figure out how to get it back.

    When a storm hits the Waratah National Park, the communication lines go down. What makes matters worse it that Matt is bitten by a snake and with the radios out no-one can radio for help. It is up to Skippy to go for help and the antidote to save Matt's life.

    Sonny decides to try his hand at something different than being a Park Ranger. He takes on a job as a sheep shearer, but instead of it being easier, he finds himself confronted by rustlers.

    Still determined to have Skippy in his zoo, Doctor Alexander Stark hires an actor to pose as a Park Ranger.

    Wildlife is going missing and Clancy has the proof, on a recorded security tape. When she goes to give it to Matt she is paralyzed by gas and it is Skippy who must get the tape to Matt to stop the fake Professor Lewis.

  • S01E22 They're Singing Me Back

    A young Aboriginal girl, Moona, runs away and finds her way to the Ranger Headquarters. All is fine, until the elders come to take her back home. Matt makes them see that through the Moona's singing, she can help bridge the gap between people.

    An Aboriginal chief believes he is going to die and asks Matt for a favour, to help. Unable to, Matt goes to Sydney to see a business man, Jefferson Judd, whose life the Aboriginal once saved.

    In Sydney, Matt finds Jefferson Judd and begs him to help the Aboriginal that once saved his life. After thinking it over, Judd agrees to help.

    At Bondi Beach, Jerry wants to win the Championship, but instead swims out to rescue a trapped Helen. While back at the Waratah National Park, Clancy and Matt have to fight a fire before it gets out of control.

    The Hammonds help an aging film star who is desperate to revive their career after they are approached by a director who wants to do a documentary about the Waratah National Park. Not all as it seems however, and the real plan is to get rid of Skippy...for good.

  • S01E28 No Trespassers

    Deep in the heart of the Waratah National Park, Skippy watches as Rocky Miller, who is attending a boxing camp, takes the Ranger Helicopter for a joyride. When he loses control of the helicopter and forced to land, Rocky gets the courage to stand up to his father and get out of the boxing business which he has hated all his life.

    Jerry takes the Waratah National Park's helicopter to go on a date with Babs. But when the helicopter crashes, can Skippy get to him in time?

    Still recovering from the crash, an investigation team is sent to verify Jerry's story. When they fail to clear him and Jerry faces charges, Sonny and Skippy go to do their own investigation.

    Sonny and Skippy become guides for foreign children stopping at Waratah National Park while touring Australia.

    Sonny travels to Sydney to persuade his friend Mr. Trundle (Alias Miles Vincent Archer) to return temporarily to his desk as chairman of a vast corporation and reverse the board's decision to despoil Waratah National Park by drilling for oil.

    Sonny is wary when his Aunt Evelyn decides to take matters into her own hands and tells Matt to put him in a boarding school in the city (Sydney). When Sonny thinks nothing will change her mind, Aunt Evelyn is saved from drowning by Skippy and Sonny and Aunt Evelyn has a change of heart.

    The Hammond family and Jerry are shocked when they return to Ranger Headquarters to find it has been burglarised. When they finally catch up with a group of men, they discover they are a vocal group also trying to catch the buglars.

    Sonny gets his first real responsibilty after his father lets him be in chage of a new reading unit at the Waratah National Park.

  • S01E37 Be Our Guest

    Clancy's mother is coming to see how she is going, before she is due to arrive, Clancy goes horse riding. Her short ride is soon change when she is thrown from her horse and is left stranded and lost in the Park. As she wanders, a group of Aborigines find her, and lead her back safely to the Park headquarters.

    Mark is accused of a hit-and-run accident, but Skippy knows who is really responsible. Two spies are trying to find a roll of microfilm are the one's who did it and disguise themselves as detectives. Little do the spies know, as Skippy has already found the film and hidden it under Sonny's pillow.

    Sonny decides to answer an advertisment in the newspaper for a person looking for love. Things go from bad to worse though when the letter is answered and Sonny had written using his father's name.

    Sonny finds a man chopping down trees in Waratah National Park, and when Sonny tells him it is illegal, the determined young man insists that he owns the land.

    Alien fever grips the Waratah National Park when Sonny and Skippy see a flying saucer.

    Mark starts to plan for a trip overseas, but his father Ranger Matt is dead set against it. Matt decides that he'll have to come up with something special in order to deter Mark's plans.

    A boy who has runaway from home is in trouble after he gets struck in river mud. Matt comes to his rescue and Sonny sees his father in a new light, forgetting for a moment that he just isn't a Park Ranger.

    When a young child wants a baby koala for a pet, his family heads for the Waratah National Park. Matt refuses, but the spoiled and very talented violinist, isn't used to not getting his own way and heads out on his own; only to be saved from being killed by Skippy.

    Skippy teaches a class of stunt men a few tricks after he saves the teacher from injury.

    A local chicken farmer wants to get even with Matt and gives Skippy poisoned meat. Skippy survives, but Matt has to try and get the farmer to confess.

  • S02E09 Belinda

    Sonny takes care of a thoroughbred mare named Belinda who was stolen from her owner.

  • S02E10 The Mine

    When an old friend comes to visit Matt, they don't except to be trapped in an abandoned mine when the entry is accidently blown up.

    When out exploring, Sonny is caught up and trapped in a rockslide. Fearing he won't be found, Sonny is relieved when a young National Service deserter, Cooper, stops to help him.

    Clancy notices someone lurking near the helicopter hangar, and Mark and Jerry go to investigate. Jerry is astounded to find someone he has known since childhood.

    Esmeralda, a gypsy woman decides to teach Matt, Mark and Sonny a lesson which even poor Skippy can stop and which leaves the Hammonds very red faced.

    A puppeteer becomes envious of Steven's talents. Skippy entertains children at the Waratah National Park, showing Uncle Carl the way to work together with Steven to make an even better show.

    Skippy's talent lands him in hot water after a scientist, Professor Clifton wants to take Skippy away to do studies on the intelligence of marsupials. Sonny, unwilling to let Skippy go, comes up with a plan to make Professor Clifton think that Skippy is the dumbest kangaroo in Australia.

    The Waratah National Park is up for inspection, and the assigned Inspector wants everything down his way or its not right. When a crisis arises at the Park, the Inspector's fear is reveaed and he comes to realise that there are many ways of running a sitution which can work out well.

    A young scientist, Paula, studying sharks is put in a dilemia with Sonny as their boat overturns. Can Skippy get Jerry and Mark to make it to them in the helicopter - before the sharks do?

    Clancy's birthday is here and Mark has a surprise planned for her. That morning Clancy heads out with Ranger Matt, but unknown to the rest is that they become stuck in the middle of nowhere with no way of getting back to the station.

    Sonny decides to skip a test at school in favour of saving the life of a young wombat. What will his father say? and will he be allowed to resit the test? or will Sonny get a second chance.

    A Champion in tree-felling, a man has turned to gambling after loosing his will to continue. Ranger Matt and Jerry do their best to help him turn his life around and to compete to regain his title.

    While mucking around in a hot air balloon, Sonny and Skippy accidently cut the rope. In order to save their lives, they must jump into the river.

    Ranger Matt hires a couple of Rodeo champions in order to capture wild horses which are causing damage to the vegetation in the National Park.

    Skippy comes to the rescue of two bushwalking teachers, Helen Macauley and Judith Wright, after Judith is bitten by a snake. Skippy heads for base with the snake and finds Jerry. Jerry heads out to find the teachers, and to tell them the snake was, after everything, harmless.

    Skippy becomes part of a magician's act when he makes her disappear. Sonny, thinking that she isn't far, goes off to do an errand and while he is gone the magician tries to make off with Skippy.

    Sister Ruth is visiting the Waratah National Park and Jerry finds that she too is passionate about the stopping bird poaching which has been occuring in the park.

    Two old, hard-headed bushmen are involved in an embittered and hostile feud over the ownership of a champion sheepdog.

    Two con-men attempt to cover up their trapping of native animals in Waratah National Park by starting rumours about the sighting of an extinct Tasmanian Tiger.

    Sir Adrian Gillespie is entering a horse in the Corinthian Handicap, which is for amateur jockey. He asks Mark if he would like to ride and he accepts. Mark is unexpectantly injured at the Randwick Racecourse and convinces Clancy to take his place, without Sir Gillespie's knowledge.

    The police are searching for a pickpocket, Nimble, at a local fair, the pickpocket however has found a couple of new victims, Sonny and Skippy - can Nimble's ways be changed?

  • S02E39 Bon Voyage

    Years of practising the piano at 6 in the morning have payed off for Clancy as she passes the final music examinations. Her joy is compounded when she wins a scholarship to study in London. She doesn't have a way to get there - unless Sir Adrian Gillespie can come up with an idea.

    A struggling painter come to the Waratah National Park to paint the different animals. Knowing she needs help, Skippy poses for her. Later a well-known politician come to the park and decides to buy one of the paintings.

  • S03E02 A Manner of Speaking

    When a new girl comes to the area, Mark tries to make friends with her but finds her father is unwilling to allow it. Mark then makes an effort to learn their language, Italian, but stuggles.

  • S03E03 The Prince of Siam

    After a Siamese Cat goes missing, Skippy comes to its aid and earns $200. Sonny meanwhile learns about what hunger really is when he heps to raise money for needy children.

    Skippy is sent to get help, after a fashion model is bitten by a spider. The photographer had thought the Watatah National Park would make a great background. Will it turn out the spider was a funnel-web, or will it all be okay?

  • S03E05 El Toro

    Sonny and Skippy are enjoying themselves at a picnic ground when a bull attacks a pair of picnickers, who end up trapped in their car. Sonny does his best to distract the bull, but just as things start going wrong for Sonny, his father, Mark and Gus turn up and Sonny watches in surprise as Gus calms the bull down.

  • S03E06 Mr Duffy

    Mr Duffy arrives at the Waratah National Park, ready to weave a touch of Irish Leprechaun magic. But is he all he seems? Aboringal paintings start appearing in the park - are they real? or just a clever forgery?

  • S03E07 The Medicine Man

    Sonny comes down ill and Matt asks the neighbour to get some cough medicine for him. The neighbour agrees as he is going to town to get some medicine for his horse, which he accidently gives to Matt. A stubborn Sonny doesn't want the medicine, which gives the neighbour enough time to return and swap them back.

  • S03E08 The Veteran

    An old war veteran, who suffers from delusions, is determined to take off in one of the Park's planes. But Matt can't allow him to take off, because Sonny is trapped in the plane.

    A drought hits New South Wales and all people are out to come up with an invention. A cloud seeding plane which an old inventor has made and a young Aboriginal child also try. Will one of them be able to break the drought.

    Wanting to do something different, other than work for his father, Mark decides to join the local football team. It doesn't take long before two members of an opposition team want to take out Mark, so his team doesn't make it to the final.

    Skippy decides to run away and join a visiting carnival with a girl named Carrie Mason. She wants to be clown and Skippy is good company...but will they both miss home?

    When a retired Colonel and an old spinster go head to head competing for the pigeon race over 600-miles, Sonny and Skippy learn a whole lot about competition!

    Sir Adrian, Mark, Matt, and Skippy search for a flower thief known as "Fred" who picks protected flowers in the National Park.

    A gang of criminals led by Meredith is looking for sunken treasure off Mallacoota, pretending to be diving for abalone. Sonny, son of Matt Hammond, the Chief Ranger of Waratah National Park, investigates with their family friend, Clancy. Sonny and Clancy are kidnapped. Skippy comes to the rescue. After a speedboat chase and a fight in the sand dunes, Meredith is captured.
