There are a lot of snakes that have the name ghost, such as ghost ball pythons, or ghost cornsnake. For whatever reason it's a popular name with reptiles, so we look at some of the cool ghost snakes that we work with. In a wierd twist Chewy seems to think the shop is haunted so Kel and I go on a ghost hunt to try to find proof of the paranormal.
When handling snakes it's so important to read ther body language so that you don't get bit. It's just as important to read whether or not your snake wants to eat. We'll take a look at some of the things we look for to reduce snake bites here as well as when feeding our snakes. We also put Chewy to the test and see if he can handle a mean snake without getting attacted by it?
While snakes are hibernating they aren't totally asleep, so they still have to defend themselves. Each type of snake is different, some will hide and others will get agressive and try to bite as you'll see me get tagged by a big ratsnake.
Keeping snakes as pets can be a great idea, but it's so important to really do your research. There are so many different types of reptiles that you can choose from. We'll go through a few of what we think are great pet snakes and how big they get so you can decide what would work for you. We also send in our American idol audition tapes and George busts out his version on Pants On The ground.
It's truly amazing how snakes feed, in this case huge Pythons taking down rabbits. We look at the way they're able to eat something so big without even having arms or hands to aid in the process. This is truly one of natures most incredible animals.
It's a mid season check on how the Python breeding season is going. We're seeing lot's of breeding and hoping for some cool baby snakes in the not too distant future. Kel also plays a prank on Steve. I guess when sex is in the air the guys get a little friscky.lol

Who's your snake's daddy? Hey everyone it's Father's Day this weekend. And here at BHB and SnakeBytesTV we celebrate all the daddy snakes as well. We'll take a look at some of the most productive male snakes we have had. These daddy snakes are the real founder stock of our snake collection. Also, George always gets sad around Father's Day, so Chewy decides to adopt him and take him under his wing.
Five ways to get snakes: we go down the list of what we feel are the top five best things you can do to convince your parents or significant other to allow you to get a snake. This may not work for all people, but we have seen that if you try them all you're chances are much greater then not trying them. Let us know if this works for you.
1,200 Plus snake eggs in one day! We're in full tilt snake egg production this time of the year and today alone we pulled over 1,200 snake eggs. That means a whole lot of baby snakes are on their way! I'll take you on my journey through this day so you can see what it's like to produce a ton of snakes.
Top ten coolest snake clutches: We're not even half way through the snake laying season but we have some clutches that we are really excited about. We can't wait to see these baby snakes hatch. We go down the list of what we feel are the coolest snake clutches so far, remember there are more snake eggs laid everyday here. The coolest snake clutches of the year may be a whole other episode! We also have a visit from some super cool Chefs for another addition of BakeBytesTV.
Snake eggs and incubation. When breeding snakes you have to think about the all important task of hatching snake eggs. That means you need to think about what kind of snake egg incubator you want to use. It all depends on how many snake clutches and how much money you want to spend. We'll show you some options from really cheap all the way to full room egg incubators. Will we hatch a Super Chocolate Wonka Ball?
Snake Bites, Dog Attacks, George Bites? Chewy is known for his snake bites, but is it all animals that want to bite him? We see if a lizard, a frog and even a dog are interested in attacking him. Is it only animals that like to attack Chewy or is it people too? We also take a look at what snake scales are really for. We all know that snakes and a lot of reptiles have scales, but have we ever thought what the reasons for them are? Watch and find out!
5 meanest snakes in the world. We take a look and try to handle some of our meanest snakes. These snakes bite us almost everytime take them out. Although most snakes are great pets and super tame, these snakes just have a bad attitude. Snake bites are most likely a part of handling these animals, and you're about to see what it's like handling some of the meanest snakes in the world!
What kind of snake do I have? Identifying snakes and their morph can be a tough one, but it really comes down to your snakes color and pattern. There are a ton of snake morphs out there now, so it can get a little tricky. I'll try to explain a few things that should make it easier for you. We'll also play the new Name That Morph game with Chewy and George and see who loses. They'll have to try to pick up a mean snake blind folded, I think there will be snake bites in their future.
Balls Deep: It's all Ball Pythons, Ball Pythons and more Ball Pythons in this weeks show. We cover some of the most common base morphs and work our way through some of the color morphs that we have produced over the years. With Ball Pythons it would really take three shows to show them all, so we do our best to show you the highlights. Snakes on a plane. We visit with the guy who was behind the reptiles in movies like Snakes on a plane, Indiana Jones and hundreds of other block busters. Jules Sylvester has decades of experience handling deadly snakes and he shares his experiences with all of us. Snakes in the big apple. We travel to New York to do an awesome reptile show in the Big Apple. There are cool reptile shows all across the country where you'll find snakes, lizards, turtles and alll kinds of creepy crawlies. We'll try to visit as many of them as possible.
Baby snakes... By far the collest thing about what we do is hatching baby snakes. Whether it's a common cornsnake are a super high end morph Ball Python or any reptile in between, we get so excited when we start to hatch our eggs. This weeks show will be the very start of the hatch season. We'll hatch 10's of thousands of snakes over the next couple of months and will be sure to keep you guys posted on our progress as well as highlighting some of our coolest hatchling reptiles.

Sweet baby snakes and a food baby. With the snake hatching season about half way done we show you some of our favorite baby snakes that we've hatched so far. There'll be a lot more cool hatchling snakes on their way and more snows about cool baby reptiles. Chewy also eats some Chinese food and goes into delivery with his food baby, luckily Kel is there to help him through it!

Zombie snake part 2; Last year we imported a snake from Africa and it turned out to be carrying a zombie virus that turned the SnakeBytesTV crew into zombies! After facing the zombie snake and killing it with a hockey stick the crew came out of their zombie trance. Not knowing I went on the attack and almost killed George with the same hockey stick. Since, George has had issues with recoverying from his experience and the crew still make fun of him for it. This year George decides to get his revenge and summon the zombie snake from the dead. You'll see what happens next!
Canadian snake'n; We travel up to Toronto for a sweet reptile show where there are all kinds of awesome animals. We'll show you all the coolest snakes, lizards, and even the dreaded tarantulas! We always have a blast when we travel north to Canada and get to spend time with our reptile friends up north.
Pinstripe Ball Python, we were fortunate enough to have brought in the first Pinstripe Ball Python from West Africa, but the story of how these snake mutations get started is never as easy as you might think. A snake for Christmas: Kel decides to take advantage of his BHB employee discount and get his entire family snakes. From his girly sister to his emo brother all the way to his Mom and Uncle from Texas. They all will get snakes for Christmas this year. Although I think everyone should own a snake, you might want to make sure that the person you are buying a snake or any animal as a present is aware and educated enough to care for it properly.
