On the anniversary of an underwhelming looming-related tragedy, a group of friends travel to the infamous vacation spot "Rude Mountain", where legend tells of a curse that will make any inhabitants incessantly rude to anyone and everyone they come across. In the resulting fray relationships are tested, failed brand ventures are obsessed over, and content creators try to find a perfect spot to record over a podcast.
